Description: The shape of these glass domes are particularly appealing. Flat sided glass domes such as these are not reproduced today and are rarer than their round or domed counterparts. This 19th Century pair are set upon their original sensitively restored ebonised bases, and still have their paper trim around the bottom of each glass dome.
