Description: When I first viewed this antique English oak settle, its overall look, proportions and colour were so appealing that I quickly dismissed the fact that the seat and an odd rail had been replaced 100 years ago. The early conservation work blends in so well with its original Late 17th Century framework and panelling, that I was happy to purchase it and have it sensitively restored. Now finished, whether it is for welcoming visitors in a hallway or for extra seating in a kitchen this charming settle is ready to be used and enjoyed. If required, a cushion can be made to fit the seat in a material of your choice. Height to seat - 41 cm. Overall measurements - 103 cm high x 191 cm wide x 53 cm deep
