Georgian mahogany tilt-top occasional table
Price: £
Description: This fine Late Georgian tilt-top occasional table is a lovely example and a rare survivor in such an original condition - especially when you consider its age, function and elegant design. Over the last two hundred years the mahogany used in its construction has taken on a lovely mellow tone - testament to the fact that it has not been unsympathetically restored during its life time. The table's ring turned central column and inverted splayed legs all point to a date of manufacture of Circa 1830. Its top has been simply decorated with rosewood banding which in-turn has been edged with boxwood. Measurements - 70 cm high x 40 cm wide x 52 cm deep
