A large pair of industrial steel, copper and gunmetal floodlights (Circa 1930)

Price: £

Description: This impressive pair of floodlights are reputedly from the equally impressive mid-19th Century waterworks at Hampton, "having lived for several years within a short walk of the pump houses on the banks of the Thames, I remember marvelling at the architecture and the quality of their construction." Thankfully, after years of neglect, these listed buildings are now being painstakingly conserved. Unlike many of the imported reproduction floodlights available on the market, these are original, and date to the 1930s, and, as you can see from the images, they are beautifully constructed, using top-quality materials, including steel, copper and gunmetal. Now, after a complete restoration, they are once again in working order, "I think these wonderful lights would look great in many different settings, but personally, I see them in a showroom, spotlighting some classic cars." Measurements are approximate and do not take into consideration the steel hanging brackets - 70 cm high x 60 cm wide x 30 cm deep.
