A poignant WW1 relic from ‘Ecole de Bienfaisance’

Price: £

Description: This emotive fragment of a seven-branch brass candlestick was found in 1915 in the ruins of 'Ecole de Bienfaisance on the Hooge Road, Ypres' - its rustic oak base and inscribed brass plaque both appear to have been attached close to the time of its discovery.
