Description: This 19th-century oval water-gilded mirror has an air of quality. During the short time it has been with us, its finely decorated surround and lustrous surface has drawn favourable comments when happened upon by customers. This attractive mirror, with its well-detailed floral surmount, came to us in its present state. Its good condition was the deciding factor when considering its purchase from the private client. It appears to have been sensitively restored in its past, and most importantly the original mirror plate, which has minor imperfections commensurate with its age, looks to have been retained.
