A 1920s mahogany revolving desk chair with height adjustment
Price: £
Description: This impressive Edwardian mahogany revolving desk chair, with its studded green leather seat and back, is spacious and particularly comfortable. In its previous life, it sat opposite a static four-legged chair of the same design, either side of a large partner's desk in a solicitor's office. That's why, when it was designed, making sure it was comfortable was so important, it was to be sat in for hours at a time. This chair also benefits from a height adjustment mechanism under the seat. It's easy to operate and very smooth - just spin the seat anti-clockwise to go up, or clockwise to go down. It also allows you to gently rock back and ponder over the issues of the day. As you can see this revolving desk chair has now been sensitively restored. Measurements (overall) width 66 cm x depth 53 cm x height 85 cm (max). Extra measurements - seat height 44cm (min) - 49 cm (max). Width of seat 45 cm x 49 cm depth. Height of top rail 80 cm (min) x 85 cm (max). Please keep an eye on our stock page as its partner will also be for sale in September.
