Description: This antique oak coaching table dates to the 1870s, it is English and harks back to a time when horse-drawn coaches were the main form of transport. Space was at a premium but wealthier passengers still expected the comforts of home, so tables, like this example, were designed with this in mind. Its mellow tones, simple outline, and ingenious space-saving design would also make it a perfect choice if you are looking for an occasional table or lamp table for a contemporary or period interior. Whilst it was being restored, every effort was made to retain its lovely original surface, colour, and character. Measurements - 57.5 cm diameter x 66 cm high
