Description: Painted in oils on board in the 1950s, this floral still by Robert Tuson is a tour de force by this interesting artist. It used to form part of the stock of the Unicorn Gallery which was also established in the 1950s. The painting is signed to the bottom right and has a gallery label to the reverse, and also a James Bourlet & Sons Ltd label to the painting's backboard. Bourlets were a highly regarded firm of frame makers and also arranged the transportation of fine art to exhibitions. The frame measures 90 cm x 76 cm.
